|olive oil — to coat the steak|
|salt and black pepper — season to taste|
|Maldon salt — to garnish|
About 1/2 hour before cooking the steak, bring it to room temperature.
Coat the T-bone steak with olive oil and season generously with salt and black pepper.
Braai over hot coat or grill on a hot griddle.
Depending on the steak’s size and thickness, a 1 kg T-bone steak will only need about about 7 minutes on the first side, and 4 minutes on the second side, for medium-rare (if cooked over a high-heat).
Allow to rest before slicing.
