Braaied haloumi and mushroom kebabs

Whether it's a cheesy braai side you're on the lookout for or a vegetarian kebab recipe, these braaied haloumi and mushroom kebabs could not be easier to make!

Ingredients (6)

250 g haloumi cheese
250 g brown mushrooms
250 g button mushrooms
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp Hinds Spices Mixed Herbs
salt and black pepper

Method:

Cut the haloumi into cubes and the mushrooms in half. Skewer onto a kebab stick, alternating the mushroom and haloumi.

Drizzle over the olive oil, and sprinkle over Hinds Spices Mixed Herbs. Season the skewers with salt and pepper.

Make a hot fire, and braai the skewers over a medium heat for 5-10 minutes, until cooked through. Enjoy with a side salad.

Tip

Soak the skewers in water before assembling to keep them for burning.
