For when you can't get enough of hot cross buns, this DIY gin is for you! It tastes exactly like hot cross buns, spiced just right but in the form of a refreshing cocktail!

Ingredients (5)

1/2 tsp whole cloves
1 cinnamon stick
1 vanilla pod — split down the middle
3 tbsp dried fruit mix — raisins, sultanas and candied fruit peel
500 ml London dry gin

Method:

Put all the ingredients together in a sterilised jar and allow to infuse in a dry dark place.

Allow to infuse for a minimum of 3 days. The longer you allow it to infuse the more intense the spiced gin will become.

Serving suggestion

Serve with ice and cold ginger ale, garnished with a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
