Ingredients (12)

3 large eggs
2 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup apple purée
1 cup pumpkin puree
1 cup nutty wheat flour
1 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
milk — to serve
maple syrup — to serve
fresh berries — to serve

Method:

1. Mix together the eggs, buttermillk and apple and pumpkins purées.

2. Stir in the flour, rolled oats, sugar, cocoa and baking powder until smooth.

3. Heat a little butter in a pan and, using a squeeze bottle or a teaspoon, drop small amounts of the mixture in the pan and cook until golden on both sides.

4. Serve with milk, maple syrup and fresh berries.
