|500 ml||flour — cake|
|salt — just a pinch|
|15 ml||Baking powder|
|10 ml||vanilla — essence|
|100 g||butter — melted|
|80 g||dark chocolate — melted|
Keep a few ice-lolly stick shandy.
1 Mix the flour, sugar, salt and baking powder in a large mixing bowl. Make a well in the middle of the dry ingredients.
2 In a separate bowl, beat the eggs, vanilla essence,milk and butter together,then pour the mixture into the well in the drying ingredients. Beat until combined, cover and chill for at least 30 minutes or overnight.
3 Heat a waffle-maker and grease well with nonstick spray. Pour 80ml (1⁄3c) of the waffle batter into the waffle-maker and cook until done. Remove carefully and transfer to a wire rack to cool.Repeat until all the batter has been used.
4 Slice the waffles into triangles and skewer on the ice-lolly sticks.Arrange on a large tray.
5 TO FINISH
Drizzle chocolate over the waffle and decorate with cake decorations of your choice. Let the chocolate set before serving.
