Method:

Blitz the freeze-dried strawberries and then sift them.

Next, add the whey powder, icing sugar, salt, and powdered food coloring (if you’re using it).

Blitz the mixture again and transfer it into a jar for convenient storage.

When you’re ready to enjoy your strawberry milk, simply mix 1 tbsp of this powder with any milk of choice.

Tips

For a plant-based alternative, consider using soy milk or soy milk powder instead of whey powder.

You have the flexibility to use any type of sugar or sweetener of your choice. If you prefer a liquid sweetener, add it when you mix the strawberry powder into the milk.

For effortless mixing and a smooth finish to your strawberry milk, start by mixing 1 tbsp of DIY strawberry powder with 1 tbsp of hot water before incorporating it into cold milk.

You can use red or pink powdered food colouring, if using. You can also use 1/4 tsp of powdered beetroot for a pop of colour instead of using food colouring.
