Refrigerator berries and chia seed jam
|berries — fresh or frozen
Place berries in a food processor with the honey and process to the consistency you prefer.
Add chia seeds and place in a clean glass jar with a lid in the refrigerator overnight or at least 1 hour to allow the Chia seeds to absorb the fruit juices. For a thicker consistency you can add another tsp Chia seeds.
This jam will keep fresh for up to a week in the fridge. The recipe can easily be halved for smaller quantities.
