20.00 g butter
1.00 onion — finely chopped
1.00 garlic — cloves, chopped
200.00 ml white wine
1.00 bay leaves
2.00 takkies fresh thyme
2.00 takkies vars vinkel
room
5.00 ml salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Smelt die botter in ‘n kastrol. Braai die
ui en knoffel tot sag en deurskynend.
Voeg die wyn, lourierblaar en tiemie
by en bring tot kookpunt. Voeg die
mossels by, maak toe met ‘n deksel
en laat kook vir 3 minute. Haal die
mossels uit en hou warm. Bring die
vloeistof weer tot kookpunt en laat
kook vir 2 minute. Voeg die room by
en verhit tot net by kookpunt. Geur
met sout en vars gemaalde swartpeper.
Skep die mossels in ‘n bakkie en gooi
die sous oor. Garneer met ‘n vars
vinkeltakkie en vars tiemie.

100 ml gekapte pietersielie byvoeg.
