Moroccan minted beef
|2 Tbs||fresh chillies — 573|
|4||beef — strips|
|1||onion — medium, sliced|
|1/2 tsp||nutmeg — ground|
|1/2 tsp||ginger — ground|
|1 Tbs||lemon — zest only|
|400 g||tinned tomatoes — curshed|
Heat the oil in a frying pan over high heat and cook the beef strips until browned, remove from the pan.
To the pan, add the onion and cook for 2-3 minutes. Add the spices and lemon rind and cook for 1 minute. Add tomatoes and simmer until slightly thickened, stirring occasionally.
Return the beef to the pan and cook until heated through.
Serve sprinkled with fresh mint.
