Chicken pizza with wholewheat base

Ingredients (13)

500.00 ml flour — brown bread
10.00 ml Baking powder
2.00 ml salt
30.00 ml butter
200.00 ml milk — or water
fresh chillies — 573
410.00 g tomato and onion mix
15.00 ml fresh oregano — chopped
freshly ground black pepper — to taste
1.00 pineapple — peeled and sliced
1.00 pepper — green and red, deseeded and sliced
250.00 g chicken — sliced
250.00 ml mozzarella cheese — grated

Preheat the oven to 200ºC.

Lightly dust two baking sheets with flour.

Sift the brown bread flour, baking powder and salt together and add the bran left behind in the sieve to the bowl.
Rub in the butter until well blended and gradually cut in the milk to form a soft dough.
Halve the dough and roll each half into a rectangle to line a small baking sheet.

Brush lightly with olive oil and cut each base into 3-4 pieces along the width of the rectangle.

Divide the tomato and onion mix between the bases and spread evenly.

Arrange the remaining ingredients on top and sprinkle with the cheese.

Bake in a preheated oven until the bases are brown, crisp and done.

Makes 2 medium-sized pizzas.
