Ingredients (5)

1 free range egg
2 tbsp whole milk
2 tsp butter
2 tbsp cheddar cheese — grated
banana — or papaya or pear, to serve

Method:

Beat the egg and milk together.

Melt the butter in a small pan over a medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and sprinkle the cheese on top.

Cook the omelette (omelet) for about 5 minutes or until set. Fold it over in half, press down with a spatula and cook for another minute.

Slice the omelette in half and put one half in the refrigerator. Chop the remaining half into baby-fist-size pieces and serve with chopped banana, papaya or pear.
