For the lentils

100 g | lentils — green |
1 tsp | turmeric |

4 Tbs | fresh chillies — 573 |

650 ml | water |
For the spice mix:
3 Tbs | ghee — or clarified butter |
1 tsp | cumin — seeds |
1 tsp | coriander — seeds |
2 tsp | yellow mustard seeds |
1 | onion — thinly sliced |
6 | garlic — cloves, thinly sliced |
20 g | fresh ginger — julienned |
3 - 4 | fresh chillies — mild, halved |
150 g | cherry tomatoes — chopped |
limes — juice only | |
1 - 2 Tbs | fresh coriander — chopped |
For the chapati:
2 cup | flour |
3/4 cup | water — tepid |
2 Tbs | yoghurt — Greek |
1/2 tsp | salt |
