Campari and orange punch
|1 cup||soda water|
|1 l||orange juice — freshly squeezed|
|1||orange — sliced|
|1||lemon — sliced|
|ice — cubes|
To make the sugar syrup: Place the sugar and 1½ cups of water in a pot, place on a medium heat and stir until the sugar has dissolved. Increase the heat and simmer for 10 minutes, or until thickened. Remove and allow to cool completely.
Half-fill a large jug or container with ice cubes. In a second jug, mix together sugar syrup, Campari, soda water and orange juice. Stir well, then pour the mixture over the ice cubes.
Top with the sliced oranges and lemons.
Ladle into glasses and serve immediately.
