Vienna and spinach cheese bites


Vienna and spinach pastry pies

Ingredients

  • 2 rolls
    puff pastry
  • 1
    egg, for egg wash
  • 2
    cup
    cooked spinach
  • 1/2
    cup
    cream cheese
  • 6
    smoked viennas, diced
  • 1
    Tbs
    butter, melted
  • 1/2
    tsp
    dried dill
  • salt and pepper to taste
 

Method

1. Preheat oven to 180°C.

2. Mix cream cheese, eggs, and dill together until well combined.

3. In a separate bowl combine spinach, feta and viennas. Pour your cream cheese mixture and season with salt and pepper. Use a small folk to combine and mix it together.

4. Cut the puff pastry roll into squares, about 10 centimeters.

5. Arrange squares on a baking tray lined with parchment paper.

6. Dollop a tablespoon of the mixture, and close the pockets by folding the corners on top.

7. Brush all edges with egg wash.

8. Bake for 12 - 14 minutes until puffed and golden brown.

9. Serve the pies fresh from the oven and ENJOY!
