Carbo-loading in Cape Town
Shame. Poor carbs. Nobody loves them anymore. They have got a bad rap lately. (I blame that Tim Noakes oke).
But not everyone feels that way and a lot of people, cyclists, sportsmen and sportswomen still believe in the mighty carb. And of course every year in March The Argus does wonders for the carb’s reputation. (I wonder if Richard Branson is carbo-loading?)
So wether you are a believer or not, here is a list of fantastic Cape Town restaurants where you can carb yourself silly before the race, or just go along to be supportive (I’m sure the chef will be relieved to make a few salads too).
