Monkey gland sauce

  • vegetable oil for frying

    small onion, finely chopped
  • 250

    fruit chutney
  • 250
    ml
    tomato sauce
  • 25
    ml
    balsamic vinegar
  • 50
    ml
    Worcestershire sauce
  • 25
    ml
    brown sugar
  • 1
    ml
    smoked paprika
  • 2
    ml
    tabasco sauce
  • pinch of salt
 

Method

5 mins
 
Over medium heat, soften the onion in a glug of oil.
Add the remaining ingredients and cook until thickened for about 5 minutes.
