Seared fresh tuna nicoise

Ingredients (13)

600.00 g tuna — steaks, fresh
fresh chillies — 573
16.00 cherry tomatoes
100.00 g green beans — blanched
12.00 potatoes — boiled, sliced
2.00 eggs — soft-boiled
12.00 black olives
1.00 red pepper — small
1.00 garlic — cloves
50.00 ml vinegar — red wine
1.00 lemon — zest and juice
fresh basil
100.00 ml fresh chillies — 573

Brush tuna steaks with olive oil and sear on a hot griddle pan for 1-2 minutes. Turn and grill for another 1-2 minutes. Tuna should be pink inside.
Assemble a pile of salad ingredients on each plate. Season. Top with a tuna steak.
SAUCE: Char-grill or roast pepper and garlic. Peel.
Process together with vinegar, lemon rind and juice and basil leaves. Slowly add oil with motor running.
Pour over tuna salad.
