These kebabs make a great meal, or accompaniment.

Cut a variety of fresh vegetables into cubes.
Use vegetables such as baby marrows, butternut, baby onions or onion wedges, yellow, red and greenpeppers, baby potatoes and mushrooms.
Thread the vegetables onto one half of wooden kebab sticks – you can also buy shorter kebab sticks or cut them shorter for a more elegant look.
Steam the vegetables in the microwave for four to five minutes (this can be done in advance to save time).
Place the vegetables in an ovenproof dish, season with chopped rosemary, crushed garlic, salt and freshly ground pepper, and drizzle with olive oil.
serving, place the vegetables under the grill and grill until golden brown,
turning once during the cooking time.
