Bacon wrapped pork fillet

Salty, crispy bacon wrapped around a succulent fillet.

Cooking time: 1 hr


  • 4
    pork fillets
  • 2
    onions - sliced
  • 2
    apples - peeled and diced
  • 2
    garlic cloves
  • 1
  • 1
    soy sauce
  • 250
    chicken stock, apple cider or white wine
  • 1
    packs streaky bacon - (enough to wrap all the fillets)
Servings: Change Serving


Season fillets with salt, pepper and herbs.
Wrap it in the bacon so that every bit is covered.
Place onions, apples, garlic, soy sauce, honey and stock in a oven dish with lid.
Put fillets on top of this and place in oven at 180 °C for an hour.
Time is just a guideline depending on your oven.
Increase honey and soy sauce as it suits your palate.
