Vanilla, lemon and milk baked chicken

  • 4
    bone-in chicken breasts
  • 2
  • 250
    (1 cup) cream
  • 150
    (3/5cup) milk
  • 1
    vanilla pod, split open


Preheat the oven to 180°C. Place the chicken in an oven-proof dish. Cut the lemons in half and squeeze out the juice. Pour the lemon juice, cream and milk over the chicken. Scrape the seeds out of the pod and place them and the pod in the dish. Add the lemon halves. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
