Ingredients (13)

150.00 g sausages — cabanossi
410.00 g green beans — canned, drained
410.00 g red kidney beans — tinned, drained and rinsed
410.00 g chickpeas — canned, drained
250.00 ml olives — black pitted
60.00 ml fresh basil leaves
2.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
1.00 fresh chillies — deseeded and finely chopped
20.00 ml lemon — zest only
80.00 ml lemon juice
5.00 ml sugar
5.00 ml salt
5.00 ml black pepper — freshly ground

Method:

Heat a pan and lightly fry the cabanossi slices then leave to cool.

Lightly mix with the remaining ingredients and refrigerate for at least 6 hours to allow the flavours to develop.
