Teriyaki beef kebabs

  • 700
    rump or sirloin steak
  • 135
    teriyaki sauce
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed


10 minutes
Cut steak into strips, cutting against the grain.
Place strips of meat in a bowl and pour over teriyaki sauce, then add garlic.
Stir well, then cover.
Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Soak 12 wooden kebab sticks in cold water for 30 minutes.
Thread beef onto the sticks.
Cook over hot coals for 5 to 10 minutes, turning frequently.
Chicken also goes well with teriyaki sauce.
Use chicken breasts fillets cut into strips as an alternative to beef.
