Sausage rolls

  • 1 pack (400 g) readymade puff party
  • 8
    chicken sausages, defrosted and casings removed
  • 50
    sun-dried tomato pesto
  • 1
    small egg yolk
  • 15


Preheat the oven to 200 °C. Lightly grease a baking sheet. On a surface dusted with flour roll the pastry slightly thinner. Place a roll of meat along one long side of the pastry. Spread pesto over the meat and roll up the pastry over the meat, forming a seam at the bottom. Cut off the excess dough and repeat the process with the rest of the pastry, meat and pesto. Beat the yolk and water together and brush each roll. Cut the long rolls into 4 to 5cm long sausage rolls. Place on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
