Rose petal and milk lollies

    low fat milk
  • 2
    rose syrup
  • 1
    strawberry liqueur - (optional)
  • 1
    condensed milk
  • 1
    rose petals - pink (optional)


Lightly grease 4 x 80ml ice-lolly moulds with vegetable oil.

Mix milk, rose syrup, liqueur and condensed milk in a jug.

Divide well-washed petals among moulds, add liquid and freeze until solid (about 4 hours). Unmould and serve.

Helpful hint: Look for pink rose syrup in the ice cream section of selected Pick n Pay stores.

Bright idea: Use fresh chopped strawberries, raspberries, cherries or blueberries in place of rose petals.
