Roasted asparagus and beef wraps

    well-matured beef fillet

    garlic cloves, crushed

    lemon, juice

    extra virgin olive oil

Using a very sharp knife, slice fillet into centimetre-thick slices or ask your butcher to do it for you. Place beef slices in a shallow dish. Mix garlic, lemon juice, oil and pepper together and pour over meat. Allow to marinate for about 30 minutes. Place asparagus on a baking sheet, drizzle with olive oil and season. Roast in a preheated 180 ºC oven for about 15 minutes, if thin and 25 minutes if thick. Allow asparagus to cool slightly and wrap in marinated beef. Serve as a pre-dinner snack with lots of paper serviettes.
