Ingredients (7)

1.00 potatoes — boiled
500.00 g potatoes — peeled and cut into chunks
1.00 eggs — large
30.00 ml breadcrumbs
1.00 onion — sauteed
60.00 ml sunflower oil — for frying
500.00 g apple sauce — ready-made, to serve

Method:

1. Peel the cooked potato and cut into chunks. Place in a food processor along
with a handful of the raw potato. Add the egg, breadcrumbs, onion and salt
and pepper, to taste. Blend until smooth, then add the rest of the raw potato and
process until smooth.
2. Heat a thin layer of oil in a non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. Fry
ladlefuls of the potato mixture in hot oil until golden brown on both sides.
3. Serve as an accompaniment to the beef soup, topped with apple sauce.
