Pork chops with apple sauce

Ingredients (7)

MARINADE
400.00 ml apple juice
15.00 ml soy sauce
10.00 ml mustard — powder
2.00 garlic — cloves
5.00 ml fresh sage
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
6.00 pork chops — excess fat removed and scored

Method:

Blend all the ingredients for the marinade and pour the mixture into a shallow bowl. Arrange the pork chops in the marinade and leave for about 1 hour.
Heat a cast-iron griddle pan till hot. Do not add any oil. Season the chops with salt and pepper and fry in the griddle pan until brown on the outside and done. Turn the chops using meat tongs.
Heat the remaining marinade in a saucepan and thicken with a little cornflour blended with a little water. Serve the sauce with the chops, accompanied by potatoes and vegetables.
Serves 4-6.
