Pasta and tomato

  • 500
  • 820
    sliced Italian, Mexican or Indian-style tomatoes, chopped
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

    Cheddar cheese, grated

Cook the spaghetti in rapidly boiling salted water till soft and done. Drain well. Add the tomatoes and mix. Season with salt and pepper if necessary and sprinkle with cheese. Heat till the cheese has just melted - in the microwave it takes about 5 minutes on 100 percent power. Serve with a green salad and Parmesan cheese, if desired. Serves 4.
