Haddock Masala

    haddock fillets, thawed
  • 10
    sunflower oil
  • 2
    onions, sliced
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3
    tomatoes, chopped
  • 10
    chilli powder
  • 30
    fish masala

1. Cut the haddock fillets into quarters and set aside. Heat the oil in a frying pan and fry the onions until golden. Reduce the heat, add the garlic and fry for a further minute.
2. Stir in the tomatoes, chilli powder and masala and fry for two minutes. Add 150ml hot water and simmer for 10 minutes.
3. Add the haddock fillets and simmer for a further 10 minutes. Serve with basmati rice or naan bread and a salad.
