Guacamole

Ingredients

  • 2
    large ripe avocados, stoned and peeled
  • 10
    ml
    finely chopped onions
  • 1
    garlic clove, crushed
  • 15
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 2
    ml
    salt
  • 1
    tomato, seeded and finely chopped
  • 30
    ml
    sour cream or mayonnaise
  • 10
    ml
    fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1
    or more, hot red chillies (depending on taste), seeded and finely chopped
 

Method

 
Mash avocados with a fork. Add remaining ingredients (use 2 ml chilli powder instead of the fresh chillies, if desired) and mix well to combine. Serve in a bowl with corn chips and wedges of fresh tomato. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
