Griddled calamari tentacles

  • calamari tentacles
  • olive oil spray
  • lime wedges


Wash calamari and pat dry.
Spray a griddle or heavy-based pan with olive oil spray and heat until smoking hot.
Cook tentacles, one at a time, until they turn white and curl slightly, about 3 to 5 minutes.
Remove from pan, season and drizzle with fresh lemon juice and olive oil.
Serve with wedges of lime.
These also work well on the braai.
