Choc-nut cookies

  • 125
    cake flour
  • 30
    cocoa powder
  • pinch of salt
  • 125
  • 60
    castor sugar
  • 50
    nibbed nuts


1. Sift flour, cocoa and salt together. 2. In a separate bowl, cream the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Add the flour mixture and the nuts. 3. Roll the mixture into small balls and place on a greased baking sheet. Flatten the balls with a wet fork, with a circular motion. 4. Bake in a preheated oven at 190 ºC for 8 to 10 minutes. Do not allow the biscuits to colour, as they will taste bitter. 5. Cool on a wire rack and serve with ice cream of your choice.
