Chinese pork chops

  • 90 ml soy sauce
  • 90 ml dry sherry
  • 90 ml hoisin sauce
  • 15 ml sesame oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 10 ml ginger, freshly grated
  • 1 fresh red chilli, chopped (optional)
  • 500 g pork chops


Mix together all the ingredients, except the chops.
Add the pork chops to this marinade and turn to coat well.
Set aside to marinate for at least 20 minutes.
Place on a greased baking tray and grill for three to four minutes on each side.
Baste well with the remaining marinade after you turn the chops.
Serve with stir-fried vegetables and rice.
