Chicken with sour cream

  • 750
    chicken pieces
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper
  • 250
    sour cream
  • 5
    curry paste (use more if desired)
  • 30
  • 1
    clove garlic, crushed
  • 1
    large banana, sliced
  • 1
    large green apple, peeled and grated


Preheat the oven to 180 °C and spray an ovenproof dish with non-stick spray or butter lightly. Heat a large saucepan and brush the base with a little oil. Season the chicken pieces and brown lightly. Remove from the pan and arrange in the ovenproof dish. Mix the remaining ingredients and season lightly with salt and pepper. Spoon on top of the chicken pieces, cover and bake for 20 minutes. Remove the cover and bake for another 20 minutes until the chicken is cooked and tender.
