Ingredients (7)

400.00 g chicken breast fillets — cubed
250.00 g bacon — streaky
1.00 green pepper — seeded and cut into squares
250.00 g mushrooms
400.00 g cranberries — in their juice
orange — zest and juice
sea salt and freshly ground black pepper

Method:

Thread the chicken cubes, bacon, green pepper and mushrooms onto kebab skewers and arrange in a flat dish.
Mix the cranberries (including juice) with the juice and rind of the orange. Pour over the kebabs and marinate for 3-4 hours in the fridge.
Turn on the oven grill. Arrange the kebabs on a baking sheet and season well with salt and pepper. Grill or braai for a few minutes until done. Turn frequently, brushing with the marinade.
Serve with pita bread, lettuce leaves, red onion rings and orange slices.
Makes about 12 kebabs.
