Cheat's nectarine tartlets

  • 200
    readymade, frozen puff pastry, defrosted
  • 4
    nectarines or plums, quartered
  • 45
    apricot jam, melted
  • thin cream, to serve


Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
Cut eight squares of puff pastry to fit into the hollows of a large muffin tin.
Leave a little pastry hanging over the edges.
Fill with nectarines and brush with a little of the jam.
Bake for 15 minutes, or until pastry is golden and puffy.
Remove from the pan and brush with some more jam.
Serve immediately with thin cream.
