Bread stir-fry

  • 250
    chopped bacon
  • 500
    bread, diced or crumbled
  • 1
    onion, sliced into rings or finely chopped
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1
    egg, whisked (optional)
  • pepper to taste
  • oil


Mix all the ingredients except the oil and stir-fry in a little oil over medium heat until the bacon is done and the bread is golden brown and crisp. Serve with a green salad and salad dressing. Serves 3-4.
