Ingredients (7)

30.00 ml butter
2 onion — chopped
800.00 g cabbage — chopped
80.00 ml seedless raisins — soaked in warm rooibos tea
nutmeg — grated
salt and freshly ground black pepper — to taste
125.00 ml peanuts — salted

Method:

Melt the butter in a large
saucepan and braise the onion until
soft and translucent, but not brown.
Add the cabbage and stirfry for 2
to 3 minutes. Add 50ml water and
stirfry until the cabbage is tender,
but not wilted. Season lightly with
nutmeg, salt and pepper.
Drain raisins and stir into
cabbage. Dish into a warm serving
dish and sprinkle peanuts over.
