Basic baking mixture with apricots and nuts

    apricot or peach halves, drained
  • 50
    pecan nuts, chopped
  • 50
    brandy (optional)


Prepare the basic baking mixture and spoon into the prepared 27 cm pie dish. Top with the apricot halves and sprinkle with the chopped pecan nuts. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until a testing skewer comes out clean when inserted into the centre of the tart. Prick with a thin testing skewer. Pour over the brandy and prepared sauce. Serve with cream, if desired.
