    lemon juice
  • 30

    olive oil
  • 5

    paprika
  • 2,5

    cumin
  • 1
    ml
    cinnamon
  • 1
    ml
    turmeric
  • 1
    ml
    cayenne pepper
  • 10
    ml
    brown sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 2
    cloves garlic, chopped
  • 4
    chicken breasts, cubed
 

Method

Combine all the ingredients except the chicken to make a marinade. Add the chicken to the mixture and marinate for 20 minutes or overnight.

Skewer the chicken pieces and grill over medium-high heat on a griddle pan for 4 minutes on each side or until done.

Serve with a light salad.

TIP: Soak the skewers in water for a few minutes beforehand to prevent them from burning on the griddle
