Spice rice

Ingredients

 
  • 1
    onion, finely chopped
  • 1/4
    green pepper finely chopped
  • 1/4
    red pepper finely chopped
  • 1/4
    yellow pepper finely chopped
  • 300
    g
    rice, cooked as normal
  • 2
    tsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    tsp
    spice for rice
  • 1
    pinch
    garlic flakes
  • 2
    Tbs
    Nando's sauce - Mild
Servings: Change Serving
 
 

Method

 
In a saucepan, heat olive oil.
Add onions, and braise until almost see through.
Add peppers, and fry for a further 2 mins.
Add spice for rice and garlic flakes and mix well.
Add cooked rice and mix onion and peppers in well.
Lastly add Nando's sauce, you can add more sauce if you need a little more kick to it.
This goes well with some roast chicken and a green salad.
