Ingredients (15)

1 kg lamb — deboned, cubed
1 onion — chopped
1 tomatoes — chopped
1 tsp garlic and ginger paste
15 ml vegetable oil
2 tbsp chillies — powder
1 tbsp masala — ginger and garlic
1/2 tsp turmeric — ground
1/2 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cumin — ground
1/2 tsp coriander — ground
2 cinnamon sticks
10 ml salt
3 potatoes — cut into halves
1 fresh coriander — to garnish

Method:

heat oil, add onions. Cook until lightly brown. Add tomatoe and ginger and garlic and cook for one minute. Add spices and cook for one minute. add meat and about 1/2 cup of water and cook for 10-15minutes. add potatoes a 1 cup water and cook for a further 10-15 minutes until gravy is thick and potatoes are soft.
take of heat and add coriander for garnish. Serve with rice
