Chakalaka chicken

Ingredients

 
  • 1
    kg
    chicken thighs
  • 1
    can
    mild and spicy chakalaka
  • 1
    can
    chopped tomato
  • 1
    tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1
    tsp
    salt
  • 1
    tsp
    pepper
  • 1
    tsp
    sugar
  • 1
    handful
    chopped coriander

Method

 
Season chicken with salt and pepper.

Place in a baking dish large enough so that the chicken pieces are flat and coat with olive oil.

Add sugar to the tomato, mix and pour over chicken. Add can of chakalaka and mix. Cover and place into oven at 180°C for 45 minutes.

Sprinkle with coriander and serve with rice.
