Ingredients (5)

8.00 slices brown bread — rye bread, lightly toasted
500.00 ml cheddar cheese — grated
1.00 garlic — cloves, crushed
1.00 tomatoes — large, sliced
50.00 g anchovy fillets — drained

Method:

Switch on the oven grill. Arrange the toast on a baking sheet. Divide the cheese evenly between the slices of toast. Sprinkle with garlic and place a slice of tomato on each slice of toast. Arrange the anchovy fillets on top and grill for a few minutes or until the cheese has melted. Serve immediately.
Serves 4-6.
