Tempting tartlets with date surprise filling

Ingredients

  • 500
    ml
    flour, sifted
  • 150
    g
    margarine, cubed
  • 50
    ml
    castor sugar
  • 2
    ml
    salt
 

Method

 
1. Blend all ingredients together to make a firm ball. 2. Roll out on a lightly floured surface and cut with a cutter to fill small patty pans. 3. Bake at 160 ºC for 6 to 7 minutes. 4. Cool and fill with a double quantity of date surprise filling (see recipe).
