Tasty rice dish

Method

 
Preheat oven to 200 ºC (400 ºF). Place the onion, garlic, green pepper, tomatoes, rice and chicken stock cube in a greased ovenproof casserole or in a presoaked clay casserole. Season to taste with paprika, salt, pepper and origanum. Dot with butter and pour the water over. Cover and bake for about an hour or until the rice is tender. Add the ham and bake for another 10 minutes. Slice the tomato and place on top of the rice. Combine the parsley with the butter and place on top of the tomato slices. Serve immediately. Serves 4.
