Tandoori chicken kebabs

  • 6
    chicken breasts, skinned and deboned
  • 180
    ml
    plain yoghurt
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 45
    ml
    Thai-style mild red curry paste
  • 15
    ml
    lemon juice
  • 2
    small ripe lemons cut into wedges
 

Method

 
Slice the chicken breasts into fairly thin strips. Mix the yoghurt, garlic, curry paste and lemon juice together and marinate the chicken in the mixture, preferably overnight. Thread the chicken strips on to the skewers snake-style, alternating each strip with a lemon wedge. Braai over slow coals until just done and serve immediately.
