Strawberry liqueur

Ingredients

  • 600
    g
    strawberries
  • 120
    g
    sugar
  • 375
    ml
    brandy
 

Method

Rinse the strawberries well and drain.
Remove the leaves and pack the fruit into a container that seals tightly.
Sprinkle with the sugar and pour the brandy over.
Seal the container and leave the fruit for 1 month at room temperature.
Gently shake the container to dissolve the sugar.
Remove the strawberries and pour liquid into clean bottles.
The liqueur is at its best after a few months.
The strawberries can be served immediately with ice cream and fresh berries.
Makes 375 ml of liqueur.
