Stir-fried chicken with ginger

    sunflower oil

    sesame oil

    onion, halved and sliced
  • 1
    garlic clove, finely chopped
  • 10

    grated fresh ginger
  • 2
    chicken breast fillets, cut into strips
  • 1
    carrot, cut into julienne strips
  • 150

    mange tout
  • 1
    red pepper, cut into strips
  • 1
    yellow pepper, cut into strips
  • 4
    spring onions, finely chopped
  • 30
    ml
    soya sauce
  • 15
    ml
    oyster or fish sauce
  • 30
    ml
    hoisin sauce
  • 15
    ml
    sweet chilli sauce
 

Method

 
Heat the sunflower and sesame oils in a wok or large frying pan and stir-fry the onion, garlic and ginger until the onion is soft.
Add the chicken, carrot, mange tout, peppers and spring onion and stir-fry until the vegetables just begin to soften.
Mix the remaining ingredients and add.
Stir-fry until heated through.
