    ground cinnamon (optional)

    ground coriander

    cayenne pepper

    caraway seed (optional)

    oil

    sesame seeds

    butter
  • 2
    cloves garlic, crushed
  • 3

    piece fresh ginger, grated
  • 650
    g
    potatoes, boiled until soft
  • pinch salt
 

Method

 
Stir-fry the cinnamon, coriander, cayenne pepper, caraway and sesame seeds for a few minutes in heated oil. Add the butter, ginger and garlic and stir-fry for another few minutes. Cut the potatoes into pieces and add to the seasoning. Stir and heat until the potatoes are heated through and well blended with the spices. Season with salt. Serves 4.
